Based on the iconic Austrian flan; whose namesake is the pretty baroque city of Linz, this Christmassy dessert uses mincemeat rather than the traditional jam and is topped with an attractive pastry lattice.
Serve warm, with whipped cream – delicious.

Looks beautiful, hope it tastes as well. But the only thing- presentation wise – was they didn’t alternate the lattice. Just plopped it on without lifting to alternate. Absolutely doesn’t make a difference in flavor I’m sure, but would have failed my granny’s eagle eye.
