My sister had one of these when I was small ( I remember it had a white cover) Then my dad and me bought one each (the yellow version) I used mine so much the cover was held together with sellotape and dad passed his onto me and I passed my battered copy on to a friend's son, as a first cookbook. I recommend this as a first cookbook for anyone worth it's weight in gold (That and the bero cookbook bring back lots of memories)

Don't know about soup makers, it's easy enough to make soup in a pan and then blitz. Get your slow cooker out of hiding - there are soooooooooooo many things you can do in it (including soup!) - even the slow beef curry could be put in in the morning and it will be ready for you when you get home and the house will smell delicious too!!!

Hello .... I've enjoyed getting the Dairy Diary for over 10 years now and it just gets better every year ! I particularly liked last year's introduction of the sheet of reminder stickers - but one tiny gripe - there aren't nearly enough Wedding Anniversary stickers and too many Doctor's appt ones! Apart from that - brilliant !
